Quotations are based on information available to me at the time of making the quotations. Prices quoted are current prices on the date of conclusion of an order.
Any changes in the design of the garment requested after confirmation of an order may require extra work and materials and will result in extra costs and time required.
Prices are not subject to VAT.
I require payment of a deposit (50% of the total amount of an order) before work on an order can be commenced. Payment of the balance and any postage & packaging fees is required before the order can be dispatched.
Payment of the deposit confirms the work will be carried out at the time agreed. Delayed payment of the deposit may result in delays in starting work on the order.
Late payment of the deposit or the balance may result in a surcharge.
If payment of the deposit or the balance is not made within the agreed period, then Daisy Lane may suspend our obligations under the terms of this agreement, or may terminate the agreement.
Payment is accepted by the following methods:
Cheque drawn on a UK bank
Bank transfer
UK Postal Orders
Commissioning Dresses
Before work commences on an order, written confirmation of the order must be received, together with payment of the deposit. Payment of the deposit confirms the order and the client's acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Payment of the deposit is required within five days of receiving my invoice.
Completion of Work and Deadlines
I will endeavour to complete your order on or before the agreed date, but this date does not include delivery times.
I may accept urgent work at my discretion, but urgent work may attract a surcharge.
Delivery
Postage and packing fees are in addition to the prices quoted and are dependent on the weight and size of the parcel and its destination. Postage and packing fees will be charged at cost.
I am not liable for any loss, whether consequential or incidental, or any damage arising from any act or circumstance beyond my control or any late arrival of goods which can be attributed to the carrier.
Measurements
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of all measurements provided. Measurements must be taken in accordance with the instructions on the Order & Measurement form provided by Daisy Lane, either as found on www.daisylane.org.uk or as provided by me.
I will use only the measurements recorded on the Order & Measurement form provided by Daisy Lane, either as found on www.daisylane.org.uk or as provided by me.
The customer is responsible for any extra expenditure arising from changes to the measurements provided by the customer.
Refunds and Returns
I will not accept returns or refunds on any garment that complies with a customer's agreed requirements as confirmed in their order.
If I have failed to comply with the instructions contained in the customer's order, and provided the customer returns the order in the same new condition and packaging as delivered, I will make any alterations required free of charge and refund the customer's costs of postage on a one time basis. Allow up to thirty days for completion of any alterations required in these circumstances.
Before returning an item, the customer must first contact me in order that the return may be authorised.
Any defect in the order must be reported within 72 hours of receiving the order.
If any errors on my part are reported later than 72 hours after receipt of the order, any alterations to the garment(s) required will be charged for, and customer's postage will not be refunded.
Returned items must be sent using a recorded delivery method.
I will not accept returns or refunds due to incorrect measurements supplied by the customer, or incorrect instructions received from the customer.
I will not accept returns or refunds on any garment that has been altered by a third party, nor on any garment that has been worn.
I will not accept returns or refunds where a customer requires a garment of a different style or made to different measurements than was specified in the confirmed order.
I will not accept returns or refunds on any part of any order that has been damaged during shipping.
Warranties and Liability
I will provide products of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose. These products will be provided with reasonable skill and care.
By the time of dispatch of an order it will be conclusively deemed that the product(s) has been made in accordance with the instructions provided by the customer on confirmation of the order, are free from any defect and the customer has accepted the product. For this purpose, the customer will be provided with photographs of the completed product prior to dispatch.
I am not liable for any loss, whether consequential or incidental, or any damage arising from any act or circumstance beyond my control or any late arrival of goods which can be attributed to the carrier.
I will not be responsible for any alterations to the product made by third parties, nor will I be responsible for the appearance or any failure of the product should it be altered or repaired by any person other than myself.
Customer confidentiality: all personal information supplied will be kept on file for reference purposes only. Personal information supplied will not be passed on to third parties.
